It is truly a pleasure to be the new Vice Principal at Castori Elementary School. My name is Jacqueline DeWitt and I have been an educator for the last 18 years. I value education deeply. I have been a Vice Principal for the last 4 years. Before, I was a Teacher and Literacy Coach at Fairbanks Elementary School where I taught Grades 2, 3 and 4 along with Reading Intervention. I enjoy camping, traveling, and writing. I believe that life is a series of choices- choose wisely and don’t let anyone stop you from achieving your dreams. I also have a law degree and I am a member of the California State Bar Association.  My focus is student safety and student achievement. I have an open door policy. I am available 99% of the time to speak with teachers, students and parents, so please stop by my office anytime. I look forward to a rewarding year at Castori!
